well i have to admit i was pretty depressed too when i was 16 but then suddenly i just noticed that "kek, this is stupid". dont waste your time in self-pity, just do something and it will be ok. or take up a risky sport as a hobby if that makes you feel alive. or just talk to people. try different things and see what suits you, maybe.

i havent watched dcss till the end yet but judging by what i ve sen prefer DC. the drama was great and the humour and of course Nemu was so unbelievable! especially in the last ep with her macho-boots, miniskirt and bell... ^^;;

well this one is one of my all-time favourites. the whole point is being totally kerrayzee.
but its not just a shallow show with random stupid scenes... after watching it 5 times (i think), there's always something new i havent noticed. for example, a fairly obvious hidden joke is when haruko and the kid enter the Iron and haruko tells the guards that they shouldnt be there as there is no entrance, it raises the question "then How-The-Hell-Did-You-Enter?". i love the way the series just throws a joke at you and rather than explaining it just mercilessly goes on its frantic pace.
as for character depth etc... well if you really try to find some you will certainly do but dont expect storylines as detailed as in shoujo manga... since its anime its far more deep than most hollywood films, you ll just have to fish it all out of the chaos yourself.
and the music is just so cool and fitting! i love it!

if you really like stupid craziness watch Happiness of The Katakuris. its a stupid comedy by the creator of The Ring... be warned though, this is serious braincell-burning stupidity... you might get bored. its not intelligent-jokes-made-stupid like FLCL, its just... stupid.

i agree with napishtim's point, though if your essay was written in proper language, and you just stress out the reasons you are NOT proud of your school, i see no point in your suspension. you could have gotten a 0 (or whatever is the lowest-possible mark in that school) for being off-the-topic but a suspension for a text which is not publicized anywhere seems truly ridiculous.

hmm looks nice. beautiful and quite comfortable to look at. the links on the top of the page (mt, browse, forum etc) are not very clear tough. but i like it. might use it when i get bored of mine XP

i recently updated my userpage layout for mt3... its a minimalistic high-contrast blame!-themed page.

the image in the background is a scan from a blame! callendar, distributed by DPG. the page is properly displayed in 1280xY resolution.

my idea was to create an old-skool cyber-page that reminds a bit of System Shock and would be relatively easy to read despite the high contrast. sadly some things are still unskinnable in this version of minitokyo.

any feedback is welcome, and of course if you like it a lot feel free to use it as your mt skin! (not that i could stop you anyway XP)

marathons is the way to go.
i ve gone in one shot through Evangelion, Great Teacher Onizuka (drama, including movie and TV special), Onegai Twins, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Sadamitsu the Destroyer, Tsukihime... and almost every series i had enough episodes to do so... :P and all of the OVAs of course.

all of those are fansub-marathons, greek TV rarely airs any decent anime.

its the same way with books... you just cant leave a story half-read, can you?

i recently decided to spend my first credits on mt3 to download a few new walls and i noticed the default filenames in the save box... its [just some numbers].jpg...

thats not to say that i liked your old way of naming better... XP

i used to copy-paste the "[some wall] by [someone]" from the bottom of the page as a filename, deleting any invalid chars. with the mt3 layout its stupidly difficult to do this... you need to have a text editor open and compose the name from tiny bits XP.

but... cant the default save-as name be something that includes the original title and creator? it looks much better than a series of numbers...

i ll try out opera 8.50 and repeort the results...

edit: yep. its the same thing in the latest opera

would that fix it? i dont like opera8 because the red buttons on the tabs are ugly :P
